This eyelash curler is easier for me to use than others I've tried. It heats well with a hairdryer, and the soft pad feels more gentle than the hard rubber-like ones. The most important feature, though, is that the ends of the curling area are open, so I can reach further into the corners and also avoid getting my skin pinched on the sides. This review is from: Tweezerman Super Curl Eyelash Curler (Health and Beauty) I bought this curler hoping it wouldn't crimp my eyelashes - it's beyond me why eyelash curlers almost universally seem to be crimpers. Would anyone be able to sell a hair curler that really inserted acute angles into your hair instead and called them "curls"? This eyelash curler is fine, but doesn't defy the crimping standard as I had hoped. the plastic bit narrows to a a fairly sharp edge. The pad is silicone which is nice, since I have a latex allergy ruling out any rubber pads. Overall a fine curler, just not "the curler" I had hoped it would be. I'd like it more if it weren't so wide - I tend to have trouble fitting large eyelash curlers up to my eye - the half width ones work much better. Then, I got this curler, and there's no problem with that any more! I love it! But, I'm buying another one, because one night I was in a hurry, and squeezed just a little too hard...crack!
