I'm using these to connect floating dock sections to each other and to connect them to transition pieces between the floating sections and fixed sections. They are terrific and I couldn't be happier with my choice. One word of warning. The pin is removable and will sink if dropped in the water. Don't ask me how I know this. Many dock hinges are sold by the piece and get pretty expensive if you have 3 or sections of docking. This is a much less expensive alternative that is still very sturdy when well bolted on. |
