Safe-T QC Rotary Steering System - 12 Feet Package - Ideal for traditional boat applications, Safe-T QC suits inboards, small outboard and power assisted stern drive applications. The kit contains the following 1- SH5094P, helm1- SB27484P, 90 degree bezel kit, 1- SSC62XX steering cable, hardware and instruction sheets. Features 3.0 turns lock-to-lock, standard 3/4 tapered steering shaft. Available either as separate components or as a complete system ready to install fast, easy installation uses simple snap-in connection, teleflex quick connect (QC) cable and industry standard safe-t mounting hardware tilt options available kits include cable, helm, bezel, hardware and instructions.

We have a 16' Lowe (aluminum bass type boat) with a center manual steering. Everywhere I called wanted twice the price and had to order it. It took 8 days from ordering to delivery, and was a brand new packaged/sealed complete product. 10 minutes to replace and off we went! Thanks! This review is from: Teleflex SS13710 Safe-T Quick Connect Marine Rotary Steering System (Sports) Instructions were ok, but viewed a few youtube videos on changing a steering cable before attempting it myself. Once I started the project, took only 2 hours start to finish, with minimal tools. Much easier than expected. Hardest part was removing the steering wheel (solved by pulling hard while hitting the center with a hammer). Fortunately for me, I did not have to remove/lift my outboard for installation. Once installed and tested on the water, I could not believe how much easier my boat was able to steer. Would recommend this product.
