I thought that for the price there would be something low quality about it, but not at all! It is sturdy and heavy, though not too heavy for a petite female (me) to lift/move it. It has spacious storage inside, and a soft cushion on top. The assembly took about 1 minute. All you do is screw the legs in the bottom. The color in the picture seems totally accurate too. It is easy to put together and very sturdy and well made. The top is not cushy, but it serves the purpose for putting on your shoes in the morning. The inner storage space is amazingly large and fits a queen comforter and blanket or extra pillows. The only minus, and hence the 4 stars- is that the hinges do not lock in place while open. It does not slam shut as another reviewer posted, but it does not lock in place. The item arrived with a slight break of one of the screws (which most likely happened during shipping by ups). It was so minor that we fixed ourselves and didn't call Legacy to inform them. I did mention it in my previous review via amazon and to our surprise, a rep from legacy contacted us to see if we wanted a replacement at no cost or partial reimburement. Now to me that shows that they care about their customer's satisfaction! |
